We arrived at the lodge we are stating at about 7:30 after a nice ride in a van. It was dark when we arrived so we couldn’t see what the area looked like. After some confusion, we finally settled into our rooms and came down for a late dinner/snack. We had rice with stirred fried vegetables. It was quite tasty, especially if you added the a bit of the spicy fish sauce. Spicy is the operative word. A Sing Ha (Thai beer) tasted wonderful. It wasn’t long after we finished eating that we all hit the sack.
As usual I woke up early and headed down with my Bible and computer and read and listened and watched Thailand wake up. As it got light, it showed the beauty of our locale.

The room that Kurt and I (and Ben a couple of others) are staying in is up the hill. There is a steep staircase with steps that are about 18”. It is like climbing a short Manitou incline. Not that we will need it, but it will be exercise every time we go to our room.
The group is gathering for breakfast. Notice that at 7:00 AM we are all in shorts. It promises to be a HOT day (100).
